These particular worms are never going to turn
We didn't know the current board when they took over, other than what the Birmingham supporters had to say about them (which was all bad)
Sadly, many people, like myself, got taken in!
They were after all lifelong Hammers, who were going to "save the club" & move us on to better things
We'd never have to sell any of our bright young stars again, we'd move to a new state-of-the-art stadium where we'd become the biggest club in London, playing in Europe every season with a world class playing squad
No we know it was all bullshit & lies
Yes we know them alright now & that's exactly why we want them out
Impossible to do worse, anything would be an improvement!

Fast becoming unpopular here Beppe, but I will say you have a point. What will we get in...
The current owners are shit, no doubt about that.
We need a change or we will be ruined as a club, no doubt about that.
But saying we are so desperate that we should accept becoming a franchise and change to West Ham Red Bulls... or accept becoming a sheiks toy. Definite no from me. Thats not West Ham United.
We need a change and we need a business plan, which will take us forward. A business plan will include a clear manager strategy, a clear recruitment strategy in the staff, especially for the medical staff, a clear playing style, a clear everything. Tottenham has this and so does/did Southampton.
I rue the day we become another Chelsea or City, as that will be the day we finally sold the last remnants of our soul.

Beppe, could you point me in the direction of a few things that this Board have done better, than average foreign ownership would have done worse?
"Knows nothing of our history".....I'll give you that Sullivan and Gold know more of our history - the fact that they have trampled all over it makes their actions the more despicable.
Would this also be "our history" that they have kept "in storage" for two years?

Not sure what the answer is, the current owners have lost the fans, even if they threw all the money they had into the club it wouldn’t help them, but what of new owners if they sold?? Say we get a Red Bull or similar, they would want to rebrand and rename……..the London Red Bulls or some such nonsense that play in Red and white, I doubt they would care much what West Ham fans thought and would figure if they lost a few it wouldn’t really matter and be more publicity for the “new” club though!!!! And the legion of fans they have from other sporting clubs in the brand would know have a PL team to follow…..
Football is fast becoming the same as the American sports were clubs are traded, re branded and even moved to suit what the owners want, fans are a distant second in, its all becoming TV and advertising money is what matters and a new set of fans can be found if the old ones don’t like it, they just package and promote the brand to the desired audience.

Dr Moose, spot on. What i don't understand is, Bayern Munich played at the Olympic Stadium and that had no roof on and an athletics track running round it. Didn't do them any harm when they won the European Cup three years running.

I'm sure Man City are ruing the day Sheik Mansour bought them rather than the Gallagher Brothers cause they know the clubs history.
We want someone who'll put their money where their mouth is; either build a new stadium or find a way to buy the hotpoint, tell Athletics to do one and turn the stadium into one fit for football and to invest substantial money in the playing side so we are challenging for european places regularly. Preferably a CEO who doesn't refer to fans as "Clients".
Is that too much to ask?
